Art & Soul Project—Creative Hospice Therapy
The Art & Soul Project at Metropolitan Jewish Hospice (MJH) helps children
and teens deal with the emotional effects of advanced illness through therapeutic creative expression.
Creative Arts Therapy
These MJH support groups provide a safe place
for children and teens to share their grief experiences and seek healing and growth. Each child or teen is assessed by a clinician and placed in an age-appropriate
support group as needed.
Music Therapy
Through the power of music and the MJH Music Therapy Program, you and your family can share positive memories and stories, heal old wounds, and communicate feelings that can’t be expressed in words.
Volunteer Program
From its earliest beginnings, hospice care has been rooted deeply in volunteerism. The tradition continues at MJH, where our dedicated volunteers are the backbone of our program. We would not be able to offer the wide array of compassionate services we do without these indispensable members of the interdisciplinary Hospice team.
Pain and Symptom Management
MJH provides state-of-the-art pain and symptom management services for patients with advanced illnesses. Our compassionate
program not only helps relieve patients’ suffering, it gives families the reassurance
of knowing their loved ones are comfortable and well cared for.
