The seeds of Metropolitan Jewish Health System (MJHS) were planted 100 years ago. That’s when a group of women concerned about the lack of quality, affordable health care started a 70-bed skilled nursing facility in Brooklyn.

Over the years, MJHS has grown into an integrated health care system that now provides comprehensive care across Greater Metropolitan New York. But we’ve never lost sight of our original vision—quality, affordable care that honors each patient’s diverse needs.
