Jewish Geriatric Center (MJGC), Shorefront Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing Care (Shorefront) or Menorah Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing Care. All three are located in Brooklyn and offer
a full range of medical care tailored to the long- and short-term
needs of our patients.

Getting renowned short-term rehabilitation just got easier
Our skilled nursing facilities—Metropolitan Jewish Geriatric Center; Shorefront Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing Care; and Menorah Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing Care—offer superb short-term rehabilitation, also known as subacute care. That means your loved one can now recover from a medical condition—like a stroke or broken bone—in a facility dedicated to providing great care.
Subacute rehabilitation includes a variety of treatments, including:
- Physical therapy
- Occupational therapy
- Speech therapy
- Audiology
We also offer education and counseling that help your loved one adjust to everyday life again and/or new physical limitations. The goal of our skilled nursing facilities is for patients to return home and be able to take care of themselves.
